Rock a Nore

We recently spent a few days in Hastings, staying once again in the Stag Inn, a great little pub in the Old Town, which was run by Jack, a black and white cat. When we last visited, there was some furore about the imposition of the Jerwood Gallery on the Stade, and a lot of opposition from the residents of Rock a Nore to it being built. It's up and running now, and I think it actually looks quite impressive although some of the art inside it leaves me a little cold, and the £7.00 entrance fee is a little excessive. Still, if it draws people down to that part of the south coast, and engages them with the local economy, then it can only be a good thing.
We asked Jack what his opinion was, but he said he didn't have one, and continued licking his private parts.
